The 18th US-China Carbon Consortium (USCCC) Annual Meeting

(Second announcement)

Background and Aim

US-China Carbon Consortium (USCCC, http://lees.geo.msu.edu/usccc.html) is a multidisciplinary, grassroots organization promoting frontier research on carbon, water, energy, and other biogeochemical cycles in terrestrial ecosystems. The consortium has brought together two dozen institutional members and ~100 eddy-covariance flux towers from the US and China since 2003.

The 18th USCCC annual meeting will be hosted by the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the China University of Geosciences from September 22 to 25, 2022. The theme of the meeting will be on measuring, observation and modeling of carbon, energy, and water cycles in the context of climate change, human influence, and urbanization. The annual meeting will uphold the aims of the USCCC and provide a platform for updating developments in the field and future international collaborations.

To help us better prepare for the meeting and determine the agenda, please provide the participant information and the topics of presentations in a timely manner.
