Dr. Chen Ke, founder and executive director of the English academic journal The Innovation (latest impact factor 33.2), visited the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Regional Planning (IARRP) of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) on Dec 17. 

Dr. Chen was invited to the institute by the innovation team of Grassland Ecology and Remote Sensing to deliver a lecture titled "The Innovation Journals: Serving Global Researcher." The event  was chaired by Researcher  Prof. Xin Xiaoping, with Deputy Director Yi Keke delivering the opening remarks. Around 50 research personnel and graduate students attended the event.

In her opening address, Prof. Xin welcomed the team from The Innovation journal and provided a systematic overview of the institute’s published papers. 

Dr. Chen introduced the vision and mission of The Innovation, encouraging young scientists to focus on the essence of science and the spirit of free exploration. He also emphasized the importance of adhering to the path of serving the country, maintaining independent and innovative scientific research, and responding to the demands of the era for continuous disruptive innovation across multiple disciplines. 

Following the lecture, Dr. Chen also engaged in a Q&A session with teachers and students and presented journals as gifts, with hopes expressed for deeper academic exchanges in the future.
